The Chambered Nautilus
The Chambered Nautilus is a cephalopod.
As it matures, it creates new chambers and moves its growing body into the larger space, sealing the vacated chamber without destroying it. In the process, it creates a container of great beauty.
For us to grow and mature, we must do the same – recognize what has shaped us without destroying or clinging to the past.
We, like the Chambered Nautilus, must move forward in order to grow, creating "containers of beauty" in the process.
